Like most Pioneer USA releases, the Armitage OVA episodes were packaged with extensive liner notes. In this particular case, though, the synopses and miscellaneous notes, and in particular a series of purported newspaper articles, contribute so much to enjoying and understanding the action that they are virtually essential. Unfortunately, they are not included in the U.S. DVD release. I have taken the liberty of transcribing them for the benefit of those, among anime LD collectors and the general public, who have not seen them.
